  • Designed for forefoot varus and valgus abnormalities

Benefits:

  • Corrects forefoot varus and valgus abnormalities
  • Provides customized support with 4° or 6° inclination
  • Comfortable and supportive medium (blue) density EVA
  • Easy to integrate into orthotics or shoe wear

Application Guidelines:

  • Forefoot Varus: Measure the forefoot varus angle and post the forefoot at the corresponding angle under the plantar metatarsal area, with the thickest part of the wedge proximal to the first metatarsal head.
  • Forefoot Valgus: Measure the forefoot valgus angle and post the forefoot at the corresponding angle under the plantar metatarsal area, with the thickest part of the wedge proximal to the fifth metatarsal head.

Important Considerations:

  • Forefoot wedging techniques assume an "ideal rearfoot" with no deformity
  • Correct application of forefoot wedges requires accurate measurement of forefoot varus or valgus angle
