Active Ingredient: Propofol 200 mg (10 mg/mL emulsion)

Formulation: Sterile oil-in-water emulsion containing medium- and long-chain triglycerides (MCT/LCT) for intravenous use

Fresofol MCT/LCT 1 % 200 mg/20 mL offers rapid-onset, short-duration anaesthesia and procedural sedation with an optimised lipid profile for enhanced metabolic clearance. Each single-dose glass ampoule delivers 20 mL of propofol emulsion, providing reliable induction and maintenance of general anaesthesia or conscious sedation in adults and children.

Indications:
- Induction & maintenance of general anaesthesia
- Sedation for ventilated ICU patients
- Procedural / day-surgery and conscious sedation
Onset & Duration: Unconsciousness typically within 30 seconds; short duration enables precise titration and rapid recovery
Dosing (Adults): Induction 1.5–2.5 mg/kg IV bolus; maintenance 4–12 mg/kg/h infusion or 25–50 mg boluses as required
Adjust dose for age, comorbidities, and pre-medication

Excipients: Soya-bean oil (LCT), medium-chain triglycerides, purified egg phospholipids, glycerol, sodium hydroxide (pH adjuster), water for injections
