Cosmopor Advance sterile Island Dressings

Cosmopor is a sterile, adhesive wound dressing made of a soft non-woven fabric, with a wound dressing pad covered with a non-adherent microgrid wound-contact layer.

Cosmopor’s strong, fluid repellent polyacrylate adhesive, ensures the dressing remains firmly in place whilst remaining soft on the skin and it’s hypoallergenic fibres prevent irritation. The highly absorbent viscose pad provides good padding effect and rapid drainage of exudate through to the microgrid layer.

• Soft breathable cover to ensure patient comfort with low adherent pad
• Low allergy polyacrylate adhesive provides a secure dressing fixation

• Conforms to body contours eg feet
• Ideal for the treatment of postoperative and acute wounds, that require protection
• Can remain on the wound for up to 3 days, however needs to be changed once wet
